Andre Vassi's journey in the world of colour and men's attire began when he took a job at a clothing store while he was still a student. Working under the guidance of the store's owner, an experienced expert in men's clothing, Andre learned the intricacies of the trade. As his mentor faced health issues, Andre took on increasing responsibility and eventually managed the store.

Those early days ignited Andre's desire to bring his unique vision of men's attire to life. In April 1997, he fearlessly launched his store at the heart of downtown Toronto, showcasing the VASSI line alongside other brands. However, as the years passed, Andre noticed the prices of menswear brands soaring without any improvement in quality.

In 2007, Andre made a bold decision. He shifted his focus solely to the design of his luxury menswear line, leaving behind the rest. With unwavering dedication, he personally orchestrates the creation of every item in the VASSI store. Each piece is an exclusive expression of Andre's artistic flair and passion for design, surpassing the confines of traditional made-to-measure or bespoke menswear.
